The 10th annual Bragger's Cup 'Drive for Wishes' is now in the planning stages. The organizing committee is meeting regularly to ensure this year's tournament is even better.


This year's event will be on Sunday August 17, 2008 at the Dog River Golf Links in Clyde River.

The format is 4 person best ball scramble with plenty of prizes, individual competition and loads of fun.

Registration for the tournament is $200/team of 4 with each team committing to raise an additional $200 in pledges.

Included in your entry is 18 holes of golf, a delicious lunch, and awards ceremony at the end of the day.

The top individual fundraiser this year will receive a full membership to Dog River Golf Links.

There are two holes in one prizes along with long drive and closest to the pin prizes.

Hole in One Prizes

New sponsor prize:
a) $15,000 Hole in One sponsored by Grant Furlotte/Investors Group

b)At this hole, a scrutineer will solicit each golfer to purchase tickets, $2 each or $5 for 3. Each ballot will enter the golfer in the door prize of a Taylor Made Golf Bag, and ALL moneys collected will be turned over as an additional donation to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

c) All ballots collected will be entered in Investors Group Atlantic Canada Golf Contest. This contest will award a trip for 2 to the 2009 British Open, a value of $12,000. All ballots collected in the Investors Group sponsored tournaments in Atlantic Canada over the summer, will be pooled and one winner will be selected.
